Terms of use

1. The service

PIVO is a pickleball app: record matches, confirm results, ratings and community features. PIVO owns no courts and offers no court booking in the app.

These terms apply when you use the PIVO app (iOS, Android) and the website pivoplay.com. Features that are not open yet (clubs, Xé Vé, Mini Game) will get their own terms before they open.

2. Accounts and age

You sign in with Apple, Google or a phone number. PIVO is for people aged 16 and over. When you create your profile you give your birth year and confirm that you are at least 16; people under 16 may not create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we delete the account and its data.

You give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure and are responsible for activity in your account.

3. Consent

When you continue to sign in or create an account, you confirm that you have read these terms and the Privacy policy and you agree that PIVO processes your personal data as described in the Privacy policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account or emailing ilamaster.info@gmail.com; you then can no longer use the features that need that data.

4. Results and rating

Only sets of rated matches that every participant confirms are Verified and change ratings. An organizer cannot force a result to Verified. If a participant rejects a set it becomes Disputed; with no reply after 48 hours it expires. The rating is PIVO's own indicator, not an official ranking of any organization.

5. Payments

PIVO never holds, splits or refunds money. Any Xé Vé or Mini Game fee is paid directly to the organizer, who confirms receipt in the app. PIVO is not a party to that payment; payment disputes are between you and the organizer.

6. Content and conduct

You must not post content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, fraudulent, infringes others' rights or harms children. You can report or block users and content in the app. We review reports, may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, and remove content on a valid request from a competent state authority.

You keep ownership of content you create (display name, match descriptions and similar). You allow PIVO to show it in the app to the people entitled to see it, only to run the service.

7. Contact details between players

When you create or join a match, the other participants of that match see your display name, rating and phone number. Phone numbers and contact options are shown only between participants of the same match. You must not use this information for advertising, harassment or anything other than playing together.

8. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app or on the Delete account page. The account is locked at once, you have 30 days to sign in again and restore it, and after that deletion is permanent. Verified match results are kept in anonymized form so other players' results and ratings don't change (see the Privacy policy and the Delete account page).

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or the law, and will give the reason where we can. You can stop using PIVO at any time.

10. Limits of liability

Sport carries a risk of injury. You are responsible for your own health and safety when you play; PIVO does not organize or supervise matches in the real world. To the extent the law allows, PIVO is not liable for indirect damages. These terms do not exclude liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, including consumer rights.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The new version is posted here with its version number and date; for important changes we tell you in the app and ask for your consent again.

12. Governing law and language

These terms are governed by the law of Vietnam. Disputes are first settled by negotiation; failing that, the competent courts of Vietnam have jurisdiction. The Vietnamese version is the original; if the Vietnamese and English versions differ, the version more favourable to the consumer applies. Contact: ilamaster.info@gmail.com.
